The Wellness Center offers many programs and classes, including a cardio dance class, Zumba.
Palm trees sway and a tropical breeze drifts through the air, while college students leisurely sip on smoothies, indulge in massages and enjoy a rejuvenating workout. At the University of Miami, all of this and more can be done without going on an island vacation; in fact, it happens every day, right on campus.
The Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art exercise and athletic facility, is many students' haven for health and stress relief during the busy academic year. Since its opening in 1996, the center has served the fitness and recreational needs of students and has even become a popular destination for social networking.
The center is located at 1241 Dickinson Drive on the Coral Gables campus.
